Biography
Pyar Seth is an Assistant Professor of Africana Studies at the University of Notre Dame. For the SMAC minor, his teaching and research focuses on how medical technologies and biometric analyses reenact and adhere racial categories to (athletic) bodies. He is also interested in performance as methodology, examining how embodied movement can serve as a mode to theorize culture, state power, and transnational processes of racialization.
