Join a panel of Notre Dame alumni on zoom to learn about the work they do in the sports & media industry, how they got there, and what advice they have for students interested in working alongside them.

Moderator

Madaket Chiarieri ‘24 is a Business Analytics major with a minor in Sport, Media, and Culture. She works with the men’s lacrosse team as both a student manager and in lacrosse analytics. She is the president of the Sports Analytics Club on campus, and has a passion for all things sports. Over the past two summers Madaket has interned at Major League Baseball and the Chicago Blackhawks, and served as a fellow for Women in Sports Tech.

Michael Wade '89
Mike Wade ’89 served on the communications staff at the National Basketball Association for 18 years, where as the league’s Director of Team Business & Partner Communications, he helped to oversee communications strategies supporting the league’s global content and media, team marketing, finance, global strategy and innovation, and corporate communications. Prior to the NBA, he provided his expertise in strategic planning and communications to organizations including ESPN, the NFL, and a wide array of top sports marketing agencies.
Ally Archer '23
Ally Archer ‘23 is a Tennessee Titans’ Amy Adams Strunk Women in Football Fellow, working in the football research and development department that was recently established under the Titans new leadership. Previously, Ally interned with the 49ers working mainly in their football logistics and research and development departments. At Notre Dame, she majored in Business Analytics, worked as an equipment manager with the football team, and did work in the sports analytics club with the football team.
Alexa Coubal '19
Alexa Coubal '19 is currently in operations for The Ringer podcast network (founded by Bill Simmons) at Spotify where she oversees ad/campaign execution for over 50 podcasts, focusing on The Bill Simmons Podcast and The Ryen Russillo Podcast. Prior to joining The Ringer, Alexa worked for Los Angeles Rams in ticket operations, working training camp, managing a box office, and handling player tickets. Alexa majored in AMST and ESS at Notre Dame, where she was also a member of the track and field team, worked in recruiting for the football team, freelanced for the AP, and wrote her senior thesis on hip-hop and basketball in NYC.
