Calling all students, faculty and staff, and alumni! The first annual SMAC Fest will be Friday, April 21 from 1-2:30pm in Hesburgh Library 231. Join SMAC students, faculty, staff, librarians, and featured alumni to celebrate the first year of our minor.
In addition to a welcome from Director Annie Coleman, and short presentations from Sports Archivist Greg Bond and Internship Coordinator Chris Becker, our three seniors Reilly Gray, Kelly Hanratty, and Paddy Burns will present their capstone projects. We will welcome our new cohort of minors, announce the first Ed Farmer Scholarship winners with Christine O'Reilly from the White Sox organization, and hear a panel of esteemed alumni consider the SMAC minor in relation to their industry.
Panelists include:
- Christina Glorioso, SVP at NBCUniversal,
- Besty Ross, President of Game Day Communications,
- Eugene Lee, NFL agent and CEO of 3 Strand Sports and Entertainment,
- Ken Dice, former Global VP for Women's Brand Marketing at Nike.
There will be snacks and plenty of opportunities for conversation. All are welcome.
