About Alexa Coubal, ’19

While a student at ND, Alexa worked in recruiting for the football team along with covering them for the AP. She also worked College Gameday against Michigan and wrote my senior thesis on hip-hop and basketball in NYC, where she got to shadow the Knicks and Nets for a couple of games. After graduation, Alexa started working for the LA Rams in ticket operations, starting at the Coliseum and eventually getting to open up SoFi Stadium. She did everything from working in the box office to handling player tickets. Alexa ended her 3-year run with a Super Bowl LVI victory. Alexa is now in operations for The Ringer podcast network (founded by Bill Simmons) at Spotify where she oversees ad/campaign execution, focusing on The Bill Simmons Podcast and The Ryen Russillo Podcast, along with other Ringer pods. She also helps with the technical aspects of launching new podcasts, talent tracking, and podcast programming.
